The formula is...

Distance = Speed × Time
so putting the values we get that...

Time = Distance/speed = 30/40 = 3/4sec.

here is your answer

given data :

distance cover = 30 km

speed = 40 km/hr

to find : time taken by the car

speed = distance / time

40 = 30 / time

time = 30/40

time = 3/4 or 0.75 hour
