A car covers 30km at a uniform speed of 60km/h and the next 30km at a uniform speed of 40km/h.find the total time taken?

t1 =distance /speed

30/60=1/2sec.

t2=distance /speed

30/40=3/4sec.

total time=1/2+3/4=4+6/8=10/8=5/4

ANS=5/4
