Answer:

Distance Covered = 432 km

Number of liters consumed = 36 liters

Therefore for 432 km, 36 liters of petrol is used. So for 25 liters how much would it cover ?

=> 432 km : 36 l :: x km : 25 l

Product of Means = Product of Extremes

=> 432 × 25 = 36 × x

=> 10800 = 36x

=> x = 10800 / 36

=> x = 300

Hence the distance covered by car with 25 liters of petrol is 300 km.

in 1 litre = 432/36
in 25 litre=432/36*25=300km
