Answer: hey mate here is your answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

a car finish a certain journey of 10 km in = 48 km/h

1h =48 km/h

10 h = 48 * 10 = 480.

8 h = 480/8=60.

60-48=12 km/h.

Answer:

12 km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

Time taken, i.e. t₁ = 10 hr

Speed, i.e. s₁ = 48 km/hr

So, distance covered = speed × time

                                    = 48 × 10

                                     = 480 km

Now t₂ = 8 hr, and

Distance = 480 km

so, speed, i.e. s₂ = distance/time

                            = distance/t₂

                            = 480/8

                            = 60 km/hr

So, speed increased = s₂ - s₁

                                   = 60 - 48

                                 = 12 km/hr

∴ speed increased by 12 km/hr.
