DISTANCE = 120Km
TIME = 8Hrs
SPEED = DISTANCE/TIME
SPEED = 120/8 = 15 Km/hr
SPEED OF THE CAR = 15Km/ hr
NEW SPEED = 1 1/2 times of the previous speed
= 1 1/2 × 15 = 45/2 Km/ hr
distance = 450km
Now , TIME = DISTANCE/SPEED
= 450÷ 45/2
= 450 × 2/45
= 10×2
= 20 Hrs
SO THE TIME TAKEN BY THE CAR IN THE SECOND CASE WILL BE 20Hrs.
