A car covers a distance of 175 k.m. at a constant speed. If the speed of the car
would have been 10 k.m./hr more, then it would have taken 2 hours less to cover
the same distance. What is the original speed of the car ?

 \huge \bf \colorbox{cyan}{given}

➡️ Distance (S) = 175 KM

➡️Speed (V) = 10 Km/hr

➡️Time (t) = 2 hours

➡️What is the original speed of the car ?

==》D = 175 km

==》Let original Speed = S km/Hr

==》Original Time = 175/S Hr

==》Increased Speed = S+10 Km/Hr

==Time Taken with increased Speed = 175/(S+10) Hr

==》175/S - 175/(S+10) = 2

==》175(S+10)-175S=2S(S+10)

==》1750 = 2S((S+10)

==》875 = S ( S + 10)

==》S²+ 10S - 875 = 0

==》S²+35S-25S-875=0

==》S(S+35)-25(S+35)=0

==》(S-25)(S+35) = 0

==》S = 25 as it can not be negative

==》25 km/Hr is original speed.
