If a car covers a distance of 22.8km in 2.4litre of petrol then the distance covered by the car in 1 litre of petrol will be;
22.8/2.4=9.5km

by the help of unitary method, we can get the answer.
Distance covered by car=22.8 km
litres of petrol used= 2.4 litres
so, distance travelled by car in 1 litres= 22.8km/2.4litres =9.5 km
