let the speed of car is x .
speed of carbon speed is decreased by 10 km per hour =x-10
=>270/x-10 - 270/x = 54/60
=>1/x-10 - 1/x =54/60×270
=>x - x + 10/x(x-10) = 1/300.
=>10×300=x²-10x
=>x²-10x-3000=0
=>x²-60x+50x-3000=0
=>x(x-60)+50(x-60)=0
=>(x-60)(x+50)=0
therefore
(x-60)=o
so , x= 60 km / h
