A car covers a distance of 624 km in 6 1/2 hours. Find its speed?

speed = distance / time

speed = 624 km / 13/2 hours

speed = 96 km/hour

Tojom: How 6 1/2 = 13/2?

if we divide it 624/1*13/2= 312*13=4046
