Now,

previous speed,p1= x/28/3 = 3x/28 Km/hr

since speed is increased by 9kmph

then,

New speed = {(3x/28)+ 9} km/hr

so, According to question;

x/{(3x/28)+ 9} = ( 28/3 - 80/60) hr

Or, x = {(3x/28)+ 9}×(28/3 - 4/3)

Or, x = x - x/7 + 3×28 - 3×4

Or, x/7 = 84-12 = 72

Or, x = 7×72 = 504 Km
