a car covers some distance with speed 2km/hr in 2 hrs and rest of the distance with speed 6km/hr in 3 hrs. find average speed

Explanation:

distance covered,

in first 2 hrs= 2km/hr×2hr=4km

in next 3 hrs= 6km/hr×3hr=18km

total in (2+3)hr=18+4=22km

average speed= total distance covered/ total time taken

=22km/5hr

=4.4km/hr
