Total distance = 22×5 m=110m
speed=110÷10m/sec=11m/sec
In km/hr = 11×18÷5=39.6km/hr

Given :

A car crosses 22 poles in 10 seconds .

Distance between each poles , d = 5 m .

To Find :

The speed of the car in kmph .

Solution :

Total distance covered :

d=22\times 5\ m\\d=110\ m=0.11\ km

Time taken :

t=10\ sec=\dfrac{10}{60\times 60}\ hours

We know ,  speed is given by :

v=\dfrac{d}{t}\\\\v=\dfrac{0.11\ km}{\dfrac{10}{60\times 60}\ hours}\\\\v=39.6\ km/h

Therefore , the speed of the car is 39.6 km/h .
