★ Given ★

  • Kinetic Energy (K.E) = 2500 J
  • Velocity (v) = 50 m/s

To Find

  • Mass (m) = ?

✯ Solution ✯

Here, the car is currently moving so this energy is Kinetic energy

Now, solving it

Formula Used

  • K.E = ½ mv²

Subsituting Values

⎆ 2500 = ½ × m × (50)²

⎆ 2500 = ½ × m × 2500

⎆ 2500 = ½ × 2500 m

⎆ 2500 = 1250 m

⎆ 1250 m = 2500

⎆ ²⁵⁰⁰/₁₂₅₀

⎆ m = 2

Thus, we got the mass of car 2 kg

Answer :-

Given :-

  • Kinetic energy, K.E. = 2500 J
  • Velocity, v = 50 m/s

To Find :-

  • Mass of car

Solution :-

  • K.E = 2500 J
  • v = 50 m/s

Substituting the value in formula :-

K.E. = ½ mv²

2500 = ½ × m × (50)²

2500 = 1250 × m

m = 2500/1250

m = 2 kg

Mass of car = 2 kg
