a) v=u+at

= 0+10×0.5

= 5 m/s

therefore, speed on striking the ground = 5 m/s

b) average speed= total distance/total time taken

total distance=50m and total time taken = 0.5 sec

therefore, average speed = 50/0.5 = 100

c) S= ut+1/2gt^2

=0×0.5+1/2×10×0.5×0.5

=50 m

height = 50 m
