Here's your answer!  From A to B :- v = 10 km/h s = s v = s/t t = s/v   = s/10   From B to A :- v = 15 km/h s = s v = s/t t = s/v       = s/15   Average speed = Total distance/Total  time Avg speed = (s + s)/(s/10 + s/15)                                   = (2s)/(25s/150)                                         = (2s)*150/25s                                          = 300/25 Avg speed = 12 km/h   Hope this helps! :)
