speed 1 = 36 km/ hr , time1 = 15 minutes

t1 = 15 ÷ 60 = 1/ 4 hrs

distance1 = s1 × t1= 36 ×( 1/ 4)

= 9 km

speed2 = 60 km/ hr , time2= 15min

= 1/ 4 hr

distance2 = s2 × t2

= 60 × ( 1/ 4) = 15 km

Answer:
-------------

total distance covered = 9 + 15 = 24 km

1. speed = 36 km/hr

time= 15 minutes

time = 15/60 = 1/4 hr

distance = 36×1/4 = 9 km.

2. speed = 60 km/ hr

time = 15 minutes

time= 15/60 = 1/4hr

distance= 60× 15 = 15 km

total distance = 9+15 = 24 km
