a car goes from A to B with a speed of 50 km per hour and then return with a speed of 40 km per hour find the average speed and average velocity for the entire trip

Given, V1 = 50km/h and V2 = 40km/h

so,
average speed = V1 × V2/V1+V2

=> average speed = 50×40/50+40

= 2000/90 = 22.22km/h


now,
average velocity = 0

because total displacement is zero
