A car has a mass of 400kg. Calculate the frictional force if the car accelerated at a rate of 2.5 m/s when driving a force of 1500 Newton was applied.​

Answer:

car is accelerated at 2.5m/s^2

for this force applied should be m×a

=400×2.5

=1000 N

bt applied force is 1500 N

so friction force must me 1500-1000

=500N

because this much force is wasted in counter balancing friction.
