s= 40x
t= 10 sec
u= 0 m/s ( starts from rest)
from the second equation of motion we have
s= ut + 1/2 at×t
40x= 0×10+( 1/2×4×10×10)
40x= 0+ 200
x= 200/40= 5
s= 40x
