To Find :-

The distance cover by it in 10 s after start.

Analysis :-

\sf s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2} \: at^{2}

Solution :-

We know that,

  • u = Initial velocity
  • t = Time
  • a = Acceleration
  • s = Displacement

We know that,

Acceleration = 8 m/s²

Time taken = 10 s

By the third equation of motion,

\underline{\boxed{\sf s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2} \: at^{2}}}

Here initial velocity u = 0 since the car starts from rest

Substituting their values, we get

\sf s=0 \times t+\dfrac{1}{2} \times 8 \times 100

\sf s=400 \ m

Therefore, distance traveled by car is 400 m
