Question :-

A car increases its speed from 20 km/hr to 50 km/hr. Find its acceleration.

Answer :-

We have,

  • initial speed , u = 20 km/hr

  • final speed , v = 50 km/hr

Lets assume the time taken in acceleration to be of time t ( in hours ) .

Thus,

Acceleration

= (v - u) ÷ t

= (50 - 20) / t

= 30/t

__________

Further Information which might help you!

Put the required value of time elapsed to get the accurate acceleration.

__________

For example, if the time t was of 1 hour.

Then, acceleration would have been 30 km/hr².
