a = change in velocity/ change in time

a = 60-10/10-0

a= 50/10

a= 5m/sec

Given :-

A car increases its speed from 10 m/s to 60 m/s in 10 sec

To Find :-

Acceleration

Solution :-

We know that

v = u + at

Where

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

60 = 10 + a(10)

60 - 10 = a(10)

50 = 10a

50/10 = a

5 = a

Hence

The acceleration of car is 5 m/s²
