a car increases its speed from 20 kilometre per hour to 50 km per hour in 10 seconds what is the acceleration
sunil8690:
0.83 m /sec seqer
Initial velocity of car = u = 20 km /h = 20×5/18 = 100/18 m/s
Final Velocity of car = v = 50 km/h = 50×5/18 = 250/18 m/s
Then , given time = 10 second
Acceleration = (Final Velocity- Initial Velocity)/Time
\begin{lgathered}( \frac{250}{18} - \frac{100}{18} ) \div 10 \\ \\ ( \frac{150}{18} ) \div 10 \\ \\ = \frac{150}{18 \times 10} = \frac{15}{18} = 0.833\end{lgathered}(18250−18100)÷10(18150)÷10=18×10150=1815=0.833
Hence the acceleration produced is 0.833 m/s²

Here ,
Initial velocity of car = u = 20 km /h = 20×5/18 = 100/18 m/s
Final Velocity of car = v = 50 km/h = 50×5/18 = 250/18 m/s
Then , given time = 10 second
Acceleration = (Final Velocity- Initial Velocity)/Time
Hence the acceleration produced is 0.833 m/s²

Solution :
Given,
Initial Velocity, u = 20 km/h
Final Velocity, v = 50 km/h
Time taken, t = 10 s
Now, we have to convert 20 km/h into m/s by multipling with 5/18
20 × 5/18 = 100/18 = 50/9 m/s
Now, we have to convert 50 km/h into m/s by multipling with 5/18
50 × 5/18 = 250/18 = 125/9 m/s
For finding the acceleration of car,
For finding the acceleration of car,By using the formula of acceleration :
a = v - u / t
=> a = v - u / t
=> a = 125/9 - 50/9 / 10
=> a = 75/9 / 10
=> a = 75/9 × 1/10
=> a = 15/18
=> a = 0.833 m/s^2
.°. a = 0.833 m/s^2
Answer : Thus, acceleration of car is 0.833 m/s^2.
