GIVEN :-

  • Initial velocity of car (u) = 20 km/h
  • Final velocity of car (v) = 50 km/h
  • Time (t) = 10 second

TO FIND :-

  • The acceleration (a)

SOLUTION :-

⇒ initial velocity (u) = (20 × 1000)/3600 = 5.56 m/s

⇒ Final velocity (v) = (50 × 1000)/3600 = 13.89 m/s

Acceleration (a) = (v - u)/t

⇒ (13.89 - 5.56)/10

⇒ 8.33/10

0.833 m/s²

Hence the acceleration of car is 0.833 m/s².

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :-

➵ Some Equations of motion are :-

1) v = u + at

2) a = ut + 1/2 at²

3) v² = u² + 2as
