A car initially at rest picks up a velocity of 72kmh-1 in 20 s. if the mass of the car is 1000 kg calculate the force
developed by engine and distance covered by the car.

72kmph = 72×5/18 = 20m/s

acceleration = (20-0)/20 = 1m/s²

force = ma = 1000×1 = 1000N

distance = ut + at²/2

= (0)(20) + 1(20)(20)/2

= 200m
