Solution :

Given:

✏ Initial reading = 1250km

✏ Final reading = 1500km

✏ Time taken = 2.5h

To Find:

✏ Average speed of car

Concept:

✏ Average speed is defined as ratio of total distance travelled to the total time taken.

Formula:

 \bigstar \: \boxed{ \sf{ \bold{ \pink{averade \: speed = \frac{total \: distance \: travelled}{total \: time \: taken}}}}} \: \bigstar

Calculation:

 \implies \sf \: v_{av} =  \dfrac{d_{final} - d_{initial}}{ \triangle{t}}  \\  \\  \implies \sf \: v_{av} =  \dfrac{1500 - 1250}{2.5}  \\  \\  \implies \sf \: v_{av} =  \frac{250}{2.5}  \\  \\  \implies \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{ \sf{ \orange{ \large{v_{av} = 100 \: kmph}}}}}} \:  \gray{ \surd}

Answer:here - initial position =1250km

Final position = 1500 km

Distance travelled = final po.- initial po.

= 1500km- 1250km

= 250 km

Total time taken = 2h 30 min

= 2.5 hour

Average speed = total distance travelled/

total time taken

= 250/ 2.5 km

= 100 km/h
