It will travel 30.5556

First find the speed in metre per second.

then multiply it by 2

Answer

Find out the how far, in meters, does it travel in 2 seconds .

To prove

Let us assume that distance travel in 2 seconds be x.

Formula

Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

As given

A car is driving at 55 kilometers per hour.

Now convert kilometer per hour into meter per second.

As 1 kilometer = 1000 meter

     1 hour = 3600 second

\frac{55\ kilometer}{hour} = \frac{55\times 1000\meter}{3600\second}

thus

Speed = \frac{550}{36} meter\ per\ second

Time = 2 second

Put in the above formula.

\frac{550}{36} = \frac{x}{2}

x = \frac{2\times 550}{36}

x = \frac{1100}{36}

x = 30.56 meter (approx)

Therefore distance traveled in 2 second be  30.56 meter (approx) .
