A car is initially moving with the speed of 30m\s . it comes to rest in 3 seconds after applying the brakes . calculate deceration , distance covered by car in 3 seconds .

u=30m/s, v=0, t=3s.
a=v-u/t
=>a=(0-30)/3
=>a=(-30)/3
=>a= -10m/s²
let distance=s
we know that,
2as=v²-u²
=>2(-10)(s)=(0)²-(30)²
=> -20s= -900
=> s=900/20
=> s=45m. ANSWER...
