  • One round is completed around the circular track

To find :

  • Distance covered

  • Displacement covered

Distance will at the end of 1 round will be equal to the Circumference as 1 whole round would cover whole boundary

Circumference of the circular track = 2πr

Distance = 2πr

At the end of 1 round the car would again come back to the initial position and hence the Displacement is equal to 0 metres

(2) is correct as Displacement is asked first and it is 0 and distance is 2πr
