Average speed of the car will be the total distance traveled in the total time.

Average speed =

Taking distance travelled as 150 in 5 seconds we have average speed as.

Average speed =

(b)   Distance traveled in t = 1 sec. is the product of speed and time, thus we have

Distance=speed×time

30×1=30 m.

(c)  Distance traveled in t = 6 sec is the product of speed and time in that interval. thus

Distance  =180 m.

(d)  Time taken to travel 240 m is the distance traveled with a particular speed in that interval.

t=  = 8sec.
