A car is moving an a semicircular path of radius 7 km. If it starts from point A and ends at point B in 2hr then find: (i) distance covered by car (ii) displacement of car speed of car (iv) velocity of car​

Explanation:

i) if car covers semicircular path then distance covered by it is circumference of semicircle

i.e

distance = \pi \times r

= 22/7×7

= 22 km

ii) displacement is the shortest distance covered by an object

i e why

displacement =2×r

=2×7 = 14 km

iii) velocity = displacement/time

= 14/2 = 7 km/hr
