Given:-

  • \sf \: Speed ,s = 54km/h
  • \sf \: Time ,t = 10min

To Find:-

  • \sf \: Distance \: covered \: by \: car \: ,d \:

Solution:-

 \sf \pmb {According  \: to  \: the  \: Question}

 \sf \: we \: have \: to \: calculate \: the \: distance \: covered \: by \: car .</p><p>

 \sf \: Firstly \: we \: change \: the \: \: speed \: into \: m/s \: by \: multiplying \: 5/18 .

\sf:\implies \: s = 54×5/18

\sf:\implies \: s = 3×5

\sf:⟹ s = 15m/s

Now, converting the time into second

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\sf \: :⟹ 1min = 60 s

 \sf: \implies 10min = 60×10 = 600s

 \sf \: Calculating \: the \: distance \: covered \: by \: car .

 \sf \: d = st \\ \sf \: where,

 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \sf \: d \: denote \: distance \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \sf \: s \: denote \: speed \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \sf t \: denote \: time \: taken \\

Substitute the value we get

 \sf:⟹ d = 15×600

 \sf \: :⟹ d = 9000m

 \sf \: :⟹ d = 9000/1000 km

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

 \sf \: :⟹ d = 9km

  • \sf \: Hence, \: the \: distance \: covered \: by \: the \: car \: is \: 9 \: kilometres.
