Answer:

here is ur answer

given that

=speed v= 60 km/h

=time=

=t 1 =1h

=t2 = 30 min

= now ,distance travelled by a car in east direction

=D1=v X t1

=D1 =60 X 1

=D1 =60 km

now distance travelled by in south direction

=D2=v X t 2

=D2=60 X 1/2

=D2= 30 km

NOW, THE DISPLACEMENT FROM INITIAL POSITION

=D=root (D1)^2+(D2)^2

=D=root (60)^2+ ( 30) ^2

=D =root 3600 + 900

=D =root 4500

=D=30 root 5

hence, the displacement of car is from initial position is 30 root 5 m.
