Given :

 \sf Speed  \: of  \: car = 40\frac{2}{3}  =  \frac{80}{3} km/hr \\   \sf time =  \frac{9}{10} hr

To find :

  • Distance travelled by car

Solution :

 \large \boxed { \sf \green{ Distance = speed \times time} }\\  \\ \sf Distance =  \frac{8  \cancel{0}}{3}  \times  \frac{9}{1 \cancel{0}}  \\  \\  \sf Distance =  \frac{72}{3}  \\  \\   \large\boxed { \sf  \blue{Distance = 24 \: km}}

Distance travelled by the car is 24 km
