A car is moving on a hill station and covers the distance as per the data given. Read the following data and construct a distance-time graph on graph paper.

Time(in minutes)

Distance (in Km) from the starting point

time(in min) distance ( in Km) from the starting point

10 5

To produce:

Graph of distance vs time of a car travelling on a hill station as per the data provided.

Graph:

It is attached in the image !

  • So, distance (in metres) is plotted on Y axis.

  • Time (in seconds) is plotted on X axis.

Hence, the corresponding points plotted on the graph are :

  • (5 , 10)
  • (10 , 20)
  • (15 , 30)
  • (20 , 40)
  • (25 , 50)

Then a straight line (in orange) is connected through all the points and the curve is produced.

  • Below the X axis , time (in sec) is written on the graph.

  • Left to the Y axis, distance (in metres) is written on the graph.

\star Hope It Helps.
