A car is moving on a leveled road and gets it velocity double. In this process, (1) How would the potential energy of the car charge? (2) How would the kinetic energy of the car charge? (3) How will its momentum change? Give reasons for your answer.

1) KE = (1/2)mv²
if v is doubled, then KE becomes 4 times of initial KE
2) PE = mgh
as v is increased, g ↓ and hence PE ↓
3) Momentum=mv
∵ v is doubled ∴ Momentum also doubles
