FRIᴄTɪᴏN

whenever a body moves aur tends to move over the surface when the body of force comes into play which act parallel to the surface of contact and opposes relative motion. This opposing force is called friction.

cause of friction

the force of friction is due to the atomic and molecular forces of attraction between two surfaces at the points of action contacts.

solution:

A car is moving towards north.so the

directon of force of friction acting on this car .. due to surface of road is south direction.

Explanation:

south direction

Always the force due the friction on a car moving in a north direction is in south direction, because the frictional force is always in a opposite direction to which the object moves. Always frictional force acts against motion.
