a car is moving westward at 4kmph. the driver finds that the raindrops are hitting the windshield with a speed of 8kmph at 30 degree east of verticle. find actual velocity of raindrop​

Subtracting the speed of the vehicle from the observed speed of

the raindrops then

Vr = Vo - Vv    where Vo = observed velocity and Vv =velocity of vehicle

Vr = (8^2 - 4^2) = 48^1/2 = 6.93 kmph

Or  8 * sin 60 = 6.93
