v = u + at

u = 40 m/s

a = - 2m/s^2

t = 5 s

v = 40 - (2*5)

v = 30 m/s

Given:-

U=40m/s

a=-2m/s^2

t=5sec

Formula to use:-

V=u+at

Solution:-

V=40-(2×5)

V=30m/s
