Given:

  • Acceleration = a = 2m/
  •  {s}^{2}
  • Time = t = 10 sec
  • Initial velocity = 0m/s

Need to find :

  • The distance travelled in 10th Second =?

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Solution:

From 2nd Equation of motion, we know,

s = ut  +  \dfrac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

The total distance travelled in 9 seconds: will be :

 = u \times 9 +  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times a \times  {9}^{2}

Substitute the values!

 = 0 \times 9 +  \dfrac{1}{2} \times 2 \times  {9}^{2}  m

 = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 2 \times   81m

\boxed{\purple{\bold{ = 81m}}}

━━━━━━━━━━━

The total distance travelled in 10 seconds will be:

 = u \times 10 +  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times \: a \times  {10}^{2}

Substitute the values!

 = 0 \times 10 +  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 2 \times  {10}^{2} m

 =  {10}^{2} m

\boxed{\purple{\bold{ = 100m}}}

━━━━━━━━━━━

The distance travelled in 10th Second:

The distance travelled in 10th Second:= Total Distance travelled in 10 seconds - Total Distance travelled in 9 seconds

= 100m - 81m

= \red{\bold{\large{\boxed {19m}}}}
