{\mathtt{\large{Question}}}

A car is running at a speed of 99 km/hr. What distance will it cover in 30 second

{\mathtt{ \large{Solution}}}

Here the relation between speed, distance and time is used.

It is given as :-

{\underline{\boxed{\sf{speed = \frac{distance}{time}}}}}

✏️In 1 hour 99km can be covered. So using speed, distance,time relation we can find the distance covered in 30 seconds.

✏️First convert the unit km/hr into m/sec by multiplying 99km/hr by 5/18.

 \mathtt \color{grey}{Unit \:  conversion}

\sf{\implies 99×  \frac{5}{18}} \\  \\ \sf{\implies\frac{495}{18}} \\  \\  \sf{ \implies 27.5 m/sec}

 \mathtt{ \to Distance  \: covered \:  in  \: 30 sec = 27.5 × 30} \\  \\  \mathtt{ \to Distance \:  covered  \: in  \: 30 sec = \color{red}{ 825 \:  metres}}
