Here the speed of the ca is given to be 50 km / hr

Also, the time is 12 minutes

We will first convert minutes into hour

60 minutes = 1 hour

12 minutes = 12 / 60

                 = 1 / 5 hour

We have to find the distance covered

Speed = distance / time

     50 = distance / ( 1/5)

   distance = 50/ 5

                 = 10 km

Hence, the distance traveled will be 10 km

As per the data given in the question,

In the above question, it is given that,

A car is running at an average speed of 50 km/h.

We have to find how much distance will it cover in 12 minutes.

Thus we will convert minutes in terms of hours we get,

\begin{array}{l}60 \text { minutes }=1 \text { hour } \\\begin{aligned}12 \text { minutes } &=12 / 60 \\&=1 / 5 \text { hour }\end{aligned}\end{array}

Now calculating the distance i.e.

Distance=\frac{speed}{time}

substituting the value in the above equation we get,

\begin{aligned}\text { distance } &=50 / 5 \\&=10 \mathrm{~km}\end{aligned}

Hence the distance covered in 12 minutes is 10km.
