initial velocity, u = 20m/s
final velocity,v = 0m/s
time,t= 4.2 sec
we know that

v = u + at
0= 20+a*4.2
a = -20/4.2
a = - 10/2.1 = - 4.76 ms-2 ans

a = v/t = -20/4.2 = -4.76 is the right answer

neosingh: i took it minus only
xprt12321: negative hee to likha h
neosingh: it comes from the eq v = u +at
xprt12321: i have shorcut method
xprt12321: to solve que fast
xprt12321: in exam
xprt12321: and anywhere
neosingh: u know the concept but i think u will get zero marks if u write this solution
