A car is traveling with the speed of 54 km/h the driver apply breaks and retards the car uniformly the car is stopped in 5 minutes find retardation of car and the distance travelled before it stopped after apply breaks

v=0

t=5min=300s

we have to find a

according to first equation of motion v=u+at

0=15+300*a

-15/300=a

-0.05m/s^2 is a

by 2nd eq. of motion s=ut1/2at^2

s=15*300+1/2*-0.05*300^2=4500-7.5=4492.5m
