Hey.

Here is the answer.

As v^2 - u^2 = 2 a s

so, u = 8 m/s

a = 1 m/s^2

s = 18 m

so , v^2 = 8^2 + 2×1×18 = 64+36 = 100

so, v = 10 m/s

So it is now traveling at a speed if 10m/s

Thanks.
