u = 8 \: ms {}^{ - 1}

a = 1 \:  {ms}^{ - 2}

s = 18 \: m

v = to \: befound

using 3rd equation of motion

v^2=u^2 + 2as

v^2= 64 + 2×1×18

v^2= 64 + 36

v^2=100

v= 10 m/s

Answer:

it is then travelling 2m/s faster than earlier as V- U = 2
