Here,
a = 1 ms⁻²
s = 18m
u = 8ms⁻¹
v = ?
Using the relation
2as = v²- u²,we get
2 x 1 x 18 = v² - 8²
=> 36 = v² - 64
=> 36+64 = v²
=> 100 = v²
=> 10² = v²
∴ v = 10 ms⁻¹
Hence,it is moving at a speed of 10ms⁻¹
