Answer:

200

Explanation:

v=0

u = 72km/hr = 20m/s

v^2 =u ^2 -2as

s = u^2/2a

s = -400/2

s = -200m

s= 200 m in opposite directions

Answer:

Initial valocity=72km/h

acceleration=-0.5m/s²

conversation of km/h to m/s =

72×5/18

=20m/s

Apply formula

2as=v²-u²

s=v²-u²/2a

S = 0²-20²/2×0.5

S = -400/1

S = 400m

Ans -- the car will travel 400m after brake was applied
