Explanation:

acceleration= change in vel./time

                    =(60-40)km/h  /   6 s

                    =(20) 1000/60 m/s    /    6 s

                    =4000m/s sq.

Explanation:

here,

u= 20 km/h

= (20×5)/18 m/sec

= 100/18

= 5.55 m/sec...

v= 60km/h

= (60×5)/18 m/sec

= 300/18

= 16.66 m/sec......

t= 6 sec

So, by 1st Kinematical equation,

v= u+at

so, 16.66= 5.55+a(6)

11.11= 6a

a= 1.85 m/sec^2......
