Answer:

a car is travelling on a straight level track with a uniform speed of 25 m per second when the car is moving away from a gun at the same level at a distance of 1500 m the gun is fired at an angle of 45 degree .

Explanation:

speed= 25 m/s

The distance moved by the car in time t= 25*t

The distance from where gun is fired  at time t=ucos45×t.

the time when gun  hits the car, the distance change is given by

1500+25t =u×1/√2×t.−−−(1)

t=2usin45/g=2u/g√2−−−(2)

from equation (1) and(2), we get,

1500+25 x 2u/g√2 = u×1/√2 x2u/g√2

from this we need to solve the value of u and that will be  our answer.
